Crystal, the app that tells you anyone’s personality, has announced its new integration with Slack, the leading business collaboration and messaging platform. The integration brings rich and contextually relevant personality insights and communication coaching directly into Slack.
How does Crystal’s Slack integration work?
Once installed, use Crystal in Slack to view your co-worker’s personality profiles and get communication guidance for everyday work situations. You can ask Crystal for suggestions on communication scenarios such as how to write an email that shares critical feedback with a coworker, how to set up a meeting with your boss, and even how to resolve a conflict within the office.
To use Crystal in Slack, open any chat and use the commands “/crystal-personality” or “/crystal-coach” to view a personality profile or get specific communication advice. For example, if I want to provide feedback to my colleague Ryan, I can ask Crystal, “/crystal-coach I need to give @ryan feedback.”
